Now, we are excited to announce the global launch of Koova's groundbreaking T series hubs. This series features a new ratchet system developed over seven years, designed specifically for professional athletes. In the following, we will explain the key features and advantages of the T series hubs in detail.

1. basic product info

The T series is based on a planetary ratchet structure, developed to meet the diverse needs of our customers. This planetary system features two angled end teeth. We found that angled end teeth improve engagement efficiency by 10%, further reducing energy loss during hub engagement and disengagement.

2. The T series offers a wide range of products. Those with a TS prefix are designed for mountain bikes, while those with a TR prefix are for road bikes. Given the numerous specifications in the hub industry, we add numerical codes after the initial prefix to differentiate between various shell designs, ratchet types, and other special features. For example, TS100 indicates a general-purpose mountain bike hub with angled end teeth.

The T series is made through multiple manufacturing processes, including forging, turning, milling, surface treatment, group processing, etc. The outer shell is made of 6061 aluminum, and the axle is made of 7075 aluminum. On the end teeth, we use steel alloy and do a lot of hard processing to ensure a strong service life of the hub.

4. Other details

At present, most hubs on the market do not give much thought to maintenance. The design of the T series takes this issue into consideration. The end teeth on the hub side can be directly rotated and removed with a special disassembly tool, making it more convenient to perform in-depth maintenance of bearings and other parts.Of course, the t series also continues the dustproof and waterproof design of the s series, which can adapt to various complex road conditions.
